Buying Squares/Space

Buying space on OnePageOneWorld is simplicity itself. The easiest way to do so is to use Paypal by clicking on the Buy Now Paypal buttom found on this page. After clicking it you will be taken to a Paypal web form in which you enter the amount of space you want to buy (each 20 x 20 pixel square costing $100 us) and if you so choose a short description. Enter your credit card information (you don't have to be a Paypal member to use paypal) and submit the transaction.

Voila!

As soon as payment is received and verified (transferred into my personal account) I will complete the transaction by changing the color of your selected square(s), enlarging the pop-up or, if you provide an image yourself, resize it and add it to the site. After your payment is submitted you can contact me at this email and give me the details of your purchase like which square(s), which image, an image of your own you would like used, text to be added, etc. Please see the info below to know what to send.

Pricing Details

The minimum buy amount is one square of space on the main page (which is 20 x 20 pixels) along with a pop-up (which is 60 x 60 pixels) both in full color at any grid coordinates that are not already taken by a colored picture, the price for this is $100 USD. A link of your choice will then be added to both the smaller and larger pop-up image.

The colored images stand out against the unpurchased squares and draw your eye to them and along with the pop-up produce an effect that gets peoples attention. You are encouraged to buy more than one square since what stands out amongst the background even better than color is more color and size! Additional squares can be purchased (there is no limit) for the same price as a single square. So, for instance you wanted to purchase 4 squares, the price would then be $400, which would be a space of 40 X 40 pixels (equal to 4, 20 x 20 squares) along with an enlarged pop-up which would be FOUR times the size of the single 60 X 60 pixel pop-up or, 120 X 120 pixels in size.

Sizing of multiple Square Purchases

Every 20 x 20 square you buy will entitle you to a pop-up that is 60 x 60 pixels in size. Buying more squares increases the size of your picture on the main page and the resulting pop-up that goes along with that space. The images below show some examples of what you can expect, the number of squares shown is up to four but the same ratios applies no matter how many squares you buy.

In addition the orienation of purchased squares can be made into any configuration: squares, rectangles, corners, shapes, it's only limited by your imagination.

Options

You have the choice of either choosing a picture from the main page you would like colorized (and enlarged if you are buying multiple squares) or, submit a picture to me that you would like used. If submitting a picture please be precise as to what part of the picture you would like me to work with. I allow for 1! redesign so more detail is better than less! All images provide must be images and not just text (I want the page to maintain its integrity). Obscene or offensive pictures will not be used.

You also can have a banner placed on the image as part of the image itself (this applies to pictures on this site as well as pictures you provide) but, be aware that it is a limited amount of space to work with so keep the message short but, as you purchase more squares the available space for text on the image increases. In addition or instead of the text on the image itself you may opt for a tooltip which is a computer generated bit of text that will appear when a visitor holds their cursor over the image.

In terms of the links from the pictures, only links to pornographic, illicit material, or links to sites promoting hatred are not allowed.

When you have made your payment, decided on a pic, your text and your link then email me email me the details. As soon as I get the email I will get to work. Please include a way of contacing you (at the very least a working email that I can send to) if I need some clarification. Once again congrats, it's going to be great pleasure working with you!

Terms

It's boring but I have to do it...

You do not own the pics if you choose one from the main page but can use a copy provided on request on your site, you cannot use it however for something like printing thosands of t-shirts, silly but we gotta play by the rules.
When you purchase square(s) you are not buying pieces of the site but the right to display an image with a link of your choice as long as the link not objectionable in nature.
I reserve the right approve or disapprove a link or provided picture if it is in any way obscene, offensive or distasteful.
Once payment is received the transaction is bindng in that there will be no refunds. I also have the right to refuse service. But, as long as the the pic and link are approved there should be no problem.
The site will be up as long as there are sufficient sales to at least pay the hosting fees. This means it should be up for a long time. Aside from this I have already paid the hosting company for several years of hosting.
I allow for one re-image of a provided picture, links can also be changed once only after the initial link is provided.
Work on images, links, re-imaging will not begin until funds are received. Once they are expect a turn around time of about 48 hours depending on work load, beore your image is re-worked and a link attached.
As with any web site, there will be occasional downtime for maintenance. I am also not responsible for outages due to things outside of my control. This means you can expect this site to be up as long as the servers it resides on (yahoo hosting) are functioning. If they go down for any reason you can't expect the site to be up.
